Platform: Windows 10 Home Version 1511 (X64) Language: English (United Kingdom) Loaded Profiles: Richard (Available Profiles: Richard) Scan result of Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST) (圆4) Version:09-06-2016 Thank you very much for your time and help. So what I am seeking, is guidance with what actions to take, to ensure the safety of my system and removal of any threats. However, the other files in the folders also seem quite suspicious (and they are the same in both folders – with the exception of ‘Blowfish.dll’ being contained in one but not the other. There are pictures attached of the contents of these two files (now without ‘CdRom.dll’ and ‘Arrays.dll’) in them. Within Avast I have moved both of these files to the ‘chest’ (as seen in the pictures) So: C:\Windows\SysWOW64\config\systemprofile\AppData\RoamingĪnd C:\uN0RlRpQnEYXjEFW\uN0RlRpQnEYXjEFW\SysWOW64\config\systemprofile\AppData\RoamingĬontained ‘CdRom.dll’ and ‘Arrays.dll’ as well. The malicious files were found in pairs at the same directory, with there being two different directories. I then ran tests with Avast antivirus and received results of malware (which can be seen in the pictures) Since, the malware was being detected in the Malwarebytes folder, I uninstalled Malwarebytes. This can be seen in the two pictures, “after restart” and “during scan” (where the files then appeared in the folder) This became a cycle of malware being detected->removal->no malware->malware being detected->removal again. However, when I then ran the test again the same malware was detected. Now when I ran the test, my system was clean. I removed the threat and restarted my computer. So I was now detecting a Trojan, within the Malwarebytes folder itself (image attached). Trojan.Kovter, C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\,, , , C:\ProgramData\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\,, , However then when I ran more tests, looking for malware, with Malwarebytes. I then removed the malware through Malwarebytes. I then installed Malwarebytes, to ensure that my system was clean, but it was not. The malware was removed and I thought that my problems were solved. I ran the test and initiated the removal process. At this stage I was quite paranoid, so after some googling, I hastily purchased Enigmas’s Spyhunter software. Attempts to remove it through windows defender were unsuccessful, as the scans would continue to detect malware, even after I had ‘fixed the problem’. I first found out that I had some malware through a windows defender notification. Hi, I have been having some issues removing some malware.
